Pride Month is a celebration held in the month of June. It originated in New York on June 28, 1969, as a commemoration of the riots that took place at the Stonewall Inn.
In 1970, the first pride march was held because of the events of the previous year, and with this began the fight for the rights of the LGBT+ community, in which many countries joined over time.

Pride Month in Mexico
In Mexico, the first gay pride march took place in June 1979. This was the first to be identified in Mexico as part of this citizens’ movement in search of equal rights.
And so began this movement, which takes place year after year throughout the month of June, and which has served as support for many people around the world. But why is this month important for brands?

very brand plays a fundamental and different role during this month. Many of them modify their logo, adding the colors of the flag to their respective logos as a show of support for the LGBT+ community, but it doesn’t stop there.
There are others that dedicate their content — cof cof — to raising awareness about what happens during this month, educating their customers, without forgetting, of course, the brands that donate to support organizations for the community in an effort to raise more awareness about this and the idea that #LOVEISLOVE.
The fact that brands are joining this movement and support for the community demonstrates the commitment they have to people and also the impact that this very important month has had on the acceptance and fight of an entire group of unique and different people (in a good way).
These dates are for reflection — for us and our society. It is good to look at the past and not deny it, but never live in it. We have advanced and progressed a lot, and this month, along with the huge marches held around the world, is proof of our progress as human beings. Let’s never stop progressing.
