Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ, the entertainment company located in the Riviera Maya, has experienced great success since its opening in 2014. Tachuela Marketing in collaboration with the creative team of Grupo Vidanta and Cirque du Soleil, we implemented a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to stand out in the entertainment market in Riviera Maya.

We helped the show to obtain a solid online presence. We developed a digital marketing strategy with a 360º vision that included:

  • Social Media: Planning and Content Analysis
  • SEO (organic positioning): Design and optimization of organic positioning strategy.
  •  SEM (Search Engine Marketing): Google and Meta Ads.

These initiatives allowed Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ to effectively reach its target audience and increase the brand’s visibility in the market.

One of the advantages of the offline investments generated was the implementation of a multichannel strategy.

This strategy had key factors in implementing QR codes and calls to action (CTA) in different sales materials, such as magazines, posters, banners, and promotional videos that appear in airports and other points, such as New York’s Fifth Avenue.

By scanning the QR code, customers would participate in a roulette where they would get different gifts such as discounts for the event.

The implementation of this strategy allowed us to present metrics that generated an extensive database for future marketing initiatives. In addition to this achievement, the theater’s sales increased since implementing the online and offline strategy.

In conclusion, Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ’s integrated marketing strategy and its implementation of multiple marketing channels and platforms allowed the show to achieve its objectives and stand out in a highly competitive market with its marketing strategy in the Riviera Maya.
